Bringing a Lodge to Life at the World Economic Forum

Last month, we had the incredible opportunity to build a bespoke set for London Filmed at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. Our challenge? To create a warm, inviting space that felt like the living room of a luxury lodge, complete with a scenic mountain view—perfect for interviews with students and journalists attending the event, hosted by the Financial Times. The set design had some interesting elements that we were excited to produce.

The Set Build

To ensure we delivered on the vision, we worked with the London Filmed team to plan the layout and finish of each element to maximising the use of the space. Dan headed out for the install to oversee delivery and guarantee the install was up to our expected high standard.

We combined a mix of stock flats and bespoke elements to construct the set, with a central feature wall clad in a stone-effect material to mimic a fireplace and add depth and texture. The highlight? A backlit light box with a high-quality canvas print to replicate a large window with breathtaking alpine views. This effect brought warmth and authenticity to the set, enhancing the intimate and relaxed atmosphere the client envisioned.

Success & Client Feedback

The final result was a stunning, functional space that seamlessly blended aesthetics with practicality. Our client was thrilled with the outcome, and the feedback from those using the space was overwhelmingly positive.

We’re proud to have contributed to such a high-profile event, and with this year’s success, we’re already looking forward to making next year bigger and better.

We make it happen.
